So, I was at the beach with some friends when someone pulled out this game. We played into the night until we were delirious and spelling words like delirious with double Es. The next morning we woke up, had coffee and the tournament continued. It felt a little like addictive gambling except there was no one serving free drinks and there were windows in the room. Oh, we had a seven-year-old playing with us, too, and it didn't slow us down one bit!

We are absolutely obsessed with this great game!! It is not possible to play just one round.. I got my nieces and friends and mom hooked on it as well!! Definitely a game for all ages, if you know how to spell!!

I bought the game for my 3 kids - 5 year old twins and a 2 ½ year old. I use the letters to teach them how words and sentences are put together. In addition, we've devised another game - one child would pull a tile and describe it to everyone; for example, "Something red or yellow or green, that's tasty and grows on trees, starts with "A"". Other two kids have to guess what it is. Who guesses it correctly first receives the tile. At the end of the game, child with the highest number of tiles wins. It also makes for a perfect "on the go" game too.
Tiles are also of very high quality and I'm sure the game will be played with proper rules when kids grow up a bit.

Bananagrams is as fun for adults as it is for kids. I love that a wide variety of age groups can play together. It is a fun and easily portable game to play just about anywhere you can find a table. Easy to set up, play with multiple players or even solo. What a fun game with a fun little package!
